Nagpur, April 3: Union minister Nitin Gadkari said Wednesday that he was "pained" by the remarks made by People's Republican Party (PRP) leader Jaideep Kawade against BJP leader and Union minister Smriti Irani. Kawade is son of Maharashtra legislator Jogendra Kawade who heads PRP, a Congress ally. Speaking to a news channel, Gadkari, BJP's Lok Sabha candidate from Nagpur, said, "It is very unfortunate, I have very good relations with Jogendra Kawade and his family. I felt very sad and pained that his son should make such a statement against a woman.
