Wyatt made his directorial debut with The Escapist. It is a 2008 drama thriller film that stars Brian Cox, Joseph Fiennes, Liam Cunningham, Seu Jorge, Dominic Cooper, Steven Mackintosh, Stephen Farrelly, and Damian Lewis.
