American actor Nikki M James of The Book of Mormon fame has been cast in Marvel's upcoming revival series Daredevil: Born Again. According to Deadline, a USA-based entertainment news outlet, details regarding her character are being kept under wraps. Daredevil Born Again: Charlie Cox Says His Marvel Disney+ Series Won't Be as 'Gory' to Appeal to a 'Slightly Younger Audience'.

Written and executive produced by Matt Corman and Chris Ord, the new instalment centres on Charlie Cox's title character Daredevil aka Matt Murdock, an attorney by day and crime fighter by night. Vincent D'Onofrio is set to reprise his role as mob boss Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin. Recently, Daredevil appeared in the Spider-Man: No Way Home and had a cameo in Disney+'s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

In addition to Cox and D'Onofrio, James joins previously announced cast members Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, and Sandrine Holt, reported Deadline. Meanwhile, Nikki won the 2011 Tony Award in the Best Featured Actress in a Musical category for her performance as NabulungiIn in The Book of Mormon. She was recently seen in the world premiere production of Shaina Taub's Suffs at The Public Theater. Daredevil Born Again: Charlie Cox's Disney+ Marvel Series to Film From February to November, Production Will Take Place in New York.

The actor can currently be seen in the Focus Features film Spoiler Alert. Her other recent notable work in television includes Severance for AppleTV+, Proven Innocent for FOX, and the CBS series Braindead. As a director, James has helmed TV episodes of The Bite and The Good Fight, as per Deadline.
