Paramount Network has unveiled that Oscar-nominated actress Michelle Pfeiffer will lead the cast of the forthcoming sequel series, tentatively titled The Madison, set in the popular Yellowstone universe. Michelle Pfeiffer Headlines The Madison

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Pfeiffer will not only star in the series but also take on an executive producer role, furthering her collaboration with Sheridan.

Chris McCarthy, Co-CEO of Paramount Global and President/CEO of Showtime & MTV Entertainment Studios praised Pfeiffer's involvement, stating, "Michelle Pfeiffer is a remarkable talent who imbues every role with emotional depth, authenticity, and grace. She is the perfect anchor to the newest chapter of the Yellowstone universe, The Madison, from the brilliant mind of Taylor Sheridan."

The announcement comes after discussions with Matthew McConaughey, who was initially rumoured to star but ultimately did not finalize a deal. The series, initially described as a direct sequel exploring the Dutton family legacy with new and possibly familiar characters, will continue the 'Yellowstone' saga with fresh storylines and settings.

In addition to Pfeiffer, the spinoff will see executive production from Taylor Sheridan, David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Christina Voros, Michael Friedman, and Keith Cox, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The Madison will be produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions.
