Emma Roberts has bagged a new comedy titled Hot Mess. The film revolves around a woman whose personal life implodes on a TV dating show, who has to take the ultimate walk of shame back to her hometown, reported Hollywood Reporter. TV director Katie Locke O'Brien (Ghosts, Blockbuster) will direct Hot Mess which marks her feature debut. Gabrielle D'Amico will pen the script. Roberts, who will appear alongside Dakota Johnson and Sydney Sweeney in the upcoming Spider-Man spin-off Madame Web, will play Laurel Mack (Emma Roberts), a contestant on a popular American dating show who has a very public meltdown on air, reported Hollywood Reporter.
