Weeks after announcing their 11-year marriage's end, Esha Deol shared a sun-kissed selfie on Instagram with a cryptic message: "No matter how dark it gets, the sun will rise." Their joint statement reads, "We have mutually & amicably decided to part ways. Through this shift in our lives, our two children's best interests and welfare are and will be of utmost importance to us. We would appreciate our privacy being respected throughout. The reason behind their separation remains unknown. They wed in a quiet ceremony at the ISKCON temple in Mumbai on June 29, 2012. Radhya was born in 2017, and their second daughter, Miraya, in 2019. Esha Deol, daughter of veteran actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini, has featured in major films like Dhoom, Dus, and No Entry.
She returned to acting last year with the thriller series Rudra: The Edge of Darkness, premiering exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar. She will also star in Invisible Woman alongside Suniel Shetty, a series backed by Yoodlee Films of Saregama India's film arm. Rajesh M Selva, known for Thoongaa Vanam and Kadaram Kondan, is directing.
