"IndiGo Kolkata-Port Blair flight was held at Kolkata this morning. During departure, minor engine fault was noted by the pilot. To minimise delay and inconvenience, the pilot decided to deplane passengers and an alternate flight was arranged," an official said.

However, the airline confirmed that all passengers onboard were deplaned and re-accommodated on another flight to Port Blair.
