Lucknow, Oct 21 (PTI) The weather remained dry across Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, the Meteorological office said.

According to the meteorological department, day temperatures were above normal on Saturday in Allahabad, Varanasi, Kanpur, Lucknow and Jhansi divisions.

Banda was the hottest place in the state, with the mercury touching 38.4 degree Celsius.

The weather is set to remain dry over the state on October 23 and October 24, the Met department said.
