New Delhi, Oct 17 (PTI) Delhi Police officials met the representatives of the Foreign National Students' Association (FNSA) at the IGI Airport to discuss the problems faced by foreign students in Delhi, the police said Wednesday.
A meeting with the representatives of FNSA was held at Mehram Nagar Wednesday, which was headed by Devesh Chandra Srivastava, Joint CP (Southern Range). Additional DCPs of all the districts, along with foreign students, attended it, said Sanjay Bhatia, DCP (IGIA Airport).
Srivastava briefed the students about the agenda of the meeting and suggested various ways to them so that they can be safe in Delhi during their stay. They were also apprised of the special helpline number of the Delhi Police -- 8750871111 -- for foreign nationals. New Delhi, Oct 17 (PTI) A 24-year-old suspected Pasonda gang member was arrested in southeast Delhi, police said Wednesday.
Sadab alias Salman, a resident of Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, was the kingpin of the Pasonda gang, they added.
On Tuesday, the police received information that three members of the Pasonda gang -- Shadab, Rayasat and Aadil -- would come near Dargah Hazrat Nizamuddin to commit robberies, said a senior police official.
At around 8.15 pm, a person on a motorcycle was seen coming from the India gate side. The police apprehended him after blocking his way, they added.
During interrogation, he was identified as Sadab, who disclosed that they used to target women and elderly people early in the morning when they used to go for walk or other works and rob them on gunpoint, the police said.

New Delhi, Oct 17 (PTI) Three men, including a Nigerian national, were arrested from the Najafgarh area for allegedly selling smack, police said Wednesday.
The accused were identified as Emmanyel Onyejegbu, a Lagos national and presently residing at Uttam Nagar here, Mohit Kumar (23) from Chandigarh and Vivek Bagri (20) from Jhajjar district in Haryana, they added.
At around 10 pm on Sunday, Onyejegbu was waiting at a bus stand in Najafgarh, when two persons came on a motorcycle, took two small packets from him and gave him Rs 45,000.
All three were arrested on the spot and 50 grams of smack, Rs 45,000 in cash and a motorcycle were seized from their possession, the police said.
