New Delhi [India], Nov 25 (ANI): The Deputy Commissioner of South Delhi Police on Sunday said the police has recovered a dead body from the basement of an under-construction building located in the Valmiki Nagar area of the national capital.
The police said that it had received a call regarding the presence of a corpse in the morning and rushed to the spot.
The body was identified as that of 34-year-old Beru by his brother, sister, and sister-in-law, who reside at the same building on a different floor.
Police said Beru did odd jobs for survival and often slept at the basement where he was found dead. They also revealed that the deceased did not stay with his relatives for several days.
Reportedly, a quarrel took place between him and four others with whom he shares the space.
A search operation has been initiated to nab the accused, who are said to be absconding. (ANI)
