Washington DC, [USA] Oct 19 (ANI): American singer-songwriter Carrie Underwood opened up about balancing motherhood with work while saying that she is just like other pregnant working mothers.

"I feel good," the 35-year-old star at the 2018 CMT Artists of the Year Awards told E! News.

"I just have a strange job. I feel like I'm a working mom, pregnant, I got my stuff to do, you know, it's just an interesting job I have, but I'm just like every other pregnant lady trying to go to work," added Underwood.

Underwood, while speaking to US Weekly said, "Balance is what it's all about. No matter what your job is. Being a mom, working and dividing your time. It is what we all have to do as mothers."

The 'Love Wins' singer is expecting her second child with husband Mike Fisher.

Underwood and her husband already have a son together named Isaiah (3). The singer expressed how her boy is excited about becoming a big brother. The couple announced the happy news in August.

"He's such a sweet guy and he'll look at my belly and be like, your baby's getting bigger, he's going to be a great big brother," she said.

"Mike and Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another little fish to our pond," Underwood told fans her fans in an Instagram video earlier in August.

The Grammy award winner, who has suffered three miscarriages in two years before her current pregnancy, disclosed during a September appearance on 'The Ellen DeGeneres' show that she knows the gender of her baby but wants to keep the information private for a little longer.

"We like to kind of just hold on to things for a minute. I feel like everyone knows just everything about everybody," she said. (ANI)
