New Delhi, [India] Apr 29 (ANI): Indian Boxers on Sunday clinched 13 medals at the 56th Belgrade Winners Boxing Championship.

The Indian Boxers Men's team won 6 medals (2 Gold, 3 Silver and 1 Bronze) while the women's team bagged 7 medals (1 Gold, 2 Silver and 4 Bronze).

For the men's team Sumit Sangwan in the 91kg (heavyweight) category and Himanshu Sharma in the 49 kg (Flyweight) won gold; while Laldin Mawia in the 52 kg (Flyweight) category, Varender Singh in the 56 kg (Bantamweight) category and Pawan in the 69 kg (Welterweight) category won Silver. Narender in the +91 kg (super heavyweight) category won Bronze.

For the women's team Nikhat won gold; Jamuna Boro and Lalfakmawii won silver; while won Rajesh in the 48 kg (flyweight) category, Priyanka in the 60 kg (lightweight) category, Rumi in the 75 kg (middleweight) category and Nirmala in the 81 kg (light-heavyweight) category won Bronze. (ANI)
