Washington DC, [USA] Nov 27 (ANI): Actor Amber Heard on Tuesday opened up about being a domestic abuse survivor.

E! Online reported that in an interview with an American magazine, Glamour she talked about the aforementioned topic without mentioning ex-husband Johnny Depp's name.

She said that a woman is always met with "skepticism, hostility, and shame" whenever she decides to talk about the injustice she faced. She even said that a man, on the other hand, never faces such a stigma.

It's over two years since the couple filed for divorce, following a temporary domestic violence restraining order against the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor.

Back in 2017, Depp denied domestic abuse allegations leveled against him. (ANI)
