Washington D.C. [USA], Oct 17 (ANI): 'A Star Is Born' and 'Black Panther' are leading the list of Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA) nominees.
HMMA, which recognises music in visual media, films, TV, video games, commercials and trailers, released its 2018 nominees, featuring A Star Is Born, Black Panther and BlacKkKlansman.
According to The Hollywood reporter, HMMA was previously bagged by 'The Shape of Water', 'Coco', and Netflix original television series 'A Series of Unfortunate Events'.
For the 2018 edition of HMMA, the category for best original score in a feature film comprises of 'First Man', 'Hans Zimmer' and 'Widows'. 'Black Panther' will be competing for best original score in a sci-fi category. 'Shallow', which is sung by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, is nominated for best original song in a feature film.
Earlier this week, Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga starrer 'A Star Is Born' soundtrack has hit the No.1 spot on Billboard's 200 album chart.
While Lady Gaga has bagged the position five times before, it is even more special for actor Bradley Cooper as he has achieved his first No. 1. The Oscar-nominated actor, who recently made his directorial debut, had never ventured into the music world before this film. (ANI)
