Lombok [Indonesia], Aug 19 (ANI): An earthquake of magnitude 6.9 on Richter scale rocked the island of Lombok, Indonesia on Sunday.

The earthquake was centred in the northeast of the island at a depth of 20km, reported a local daily. No causality has been reported till now, but the power outrage left the island in dark.

This comes two weeks after an earthquake of magnitude 6.9 hit the island, which claimed 347 lives and caused massive destruction on August 5.

According to several media reports, a large number of people have been displaced due to the earthquake, while over 1,000 people sustained injuries..
