Ara, Sep 30 (PTI) Police on Sunday arrested five persons and seized arms and ammunition from their possession at Ara town in Bihar's Bhojpur district.

Acting on a tip-off, a special police team headed by ASP (Operations) Nitin Kumar nabbed the five arms smugglers at KG Road area under Nawada police station, SP Awakash Kumar said.

Police recovered pistols of different bores and several live cartridges, the SP said.
