New Delhi [India], Oct 8 (ANI): Three Hong Kong players namely - Irfan Ahmed, Nadeem Ahmed and Haseeb Amjad have been found guilty of breaching the International Cricket Council's (ICC) Anti-Corruption Code and have been provisionally suspended. While Irfan Ahmed will face nine charges, Nadeem Ahmed and Haseeb Amjad are each charged under five counts.

The allegations are related to "fixing or contriving or otherwise influencing improperly, or being a party to an effort to fix or contrive or otherwise influence improperly, the result, progress, conduct" of matches. While Nadeem has failed to comply with Article 2.1.3 of the 2014 Code in 2016 ICC World T20 matches, Haseeb Amjad has been found guilty under Article 2.1.3 of the 2012 Code in a Hong Kong- Canada match played on January 17, 2014.
