Bhopal, Apr 17 (PTI) At least 12 members of a marriage party were killed when a mini-truck carrying them fell off a bridge over the Sone river in Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh tonight, officials said.

They said that the casualties might go up as many more people were trapped inside the vehicle.

The mini-truck fell off the bridge near Amelia in Bahri police station area of the district, they said. "Both the district collector and the district police chief have reached the spot and supervising the rescue operation," one of the officials told PTI from the spot.
